It started with one photograph of a fire hydrant then turned into a 20+ year photo documentary adventure. Which is now turning into a book, Piss On This Book.

The book marries a documentary series of fire hydrants from specific locations with time-encapsulating unfiltered thoughts.
The birth of the book came about during a phase of my life when street art was a huge influence. I wanted to create more street art, yet I felt conflicted about vandalizing property. I started stumbling upon fire hydrants that were already vandalized. Finding fire hydrants that were already altered in any form or fashion seemed to scratch that itch. This became somewhat of a personal scavenger hunt and great outlet for my ADHD as I found myself wandering around this world.
