MY BEGINNING WAS HUMBLE
That is actually a big fat lie. My beginning was in a fly-over state on the border of the country and the suburbs. I grew up in a pretty okay/good situation. I thought I was an alien for a really long time. Turns out, I just have ADHD and that was a normal feeling for kids like that in the 80s. I really loved OREO's (I'm not sponsored by them or anything), and I watched a lot of Oprah after school. Do kids these days know about what a badass Oprah is? Well, she is. I had a phone that was plugged into the wall, and I spent a lot of time in the woods behind my house. But just to clarify, I was not in the woods with the phone that was plugged into the wall. As a teen, I was convinced that if I didn't drink alcohol then I wouldn't be an alcoholic. I did drugs instead, obviously a really smart choice. Well, big surprise, I turned out to be an alcoholic.
